Job Description:
KVOA News 4 Tucson is seeking a part-time, paid news intern for training in all aspects of daily TV newscast production. The ideal candidate possesses a strong desire to learn in a creative environment. The position gives first-hand experience of producing, shooting and editing video, reporting, interviewing sources, researching information, writing scripts, and building digital stories. The goal is to fully prepare you for your first professional position in the TV news industry.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
• Developing story ideas around local news and events
• Researching and gathering information
• Writing news content for TV and digital platforms
• Producing videos and graphics for digital platforms
• Shooting and editing video

Qualifications:
This position is designed to build on journalism knowledge. Applicants should have completed at least basic college coursework in journalism and/or a related major or have equivalent professional experience.
