Deadline for Arizona Broadcasters Hall of Fame, Newcomer Nominations
The Arizona Broadcasters Association plans to proceed as normal with award nominations and selections for 2020. Details are listed below about how to make a nomination for both the Arizona Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Arizona Broadcasters Newcomer Award. The nomination deadline is June 30, 2020.
Once winners are announced, we will defer all in-person recognition until 2021 when we will host a larger-than-normal lunch to recognize outstanding leaders in Arizona broadcasting from both 2020 and 2021. Since our annual lunch brings hundreds of people together in one room, this means there will be NO Future and Awards Lunch this fall (as a COVID-19 precaution).
Please help make sure the best candidates are nominated for 2020:
ARIZONA BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME:
The Hall of Fame Award is arguably the highest award an Arizona broadcaster can receive. Candidates must have spent a minimum of 10 years in Arizona broadcasting, although most past winners have worked in our state’s broadcasting world for far longer. Award winners will have created a lasting impact on Arizona broadcasting that is so deep it simply can’t be undone. Candidates can come from any industry discipline.
