Each year, our Arizona Broadcasters Association meets with Arizona’s US Representatives and US Senators.

The purpose of these meetings is to advocate for key broadcast issues that our political leaders have the power to affect.

As we look at the year ahead, there are FOUR places we are focusing our efforts:

1. Preserving local journalism in the age of big tech
2. A performance tax that threatens local jobs
3. Passage of the Local Journalism Sustainability Act
4. Encouraging diversity in broadcasting
