We want to give you early notice on a new ABA effort that we hope to make available in 2022 to all Arizona TV and radio stations that choose to participate.

The ABA is working on a partnership that would allow all Arizona broadcasters to simulcast live political debates next fall for the Arizona Governor’s race as well as the open US Senate seat in Arizona.

As many of you know, there have been limited Arizona debates in recent years, and nothing available to all Arizona broadcasters.

The ABA is partnering with Arizona Clean Elections, the Arizona Newspapers Association and ASU’s Cronkite School/Arizona PBS as the potential host location.

Of course, there are a lot of logistics that need to be navigated.

This partnership will also open up potential for each of you participate in regional debates for US Reps or other local state/city races, if you are so inclined. More from us soon!
