The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal by broadcasters and the FCC to push for more deregulation in broadcast ownership.

Back in April, broadcasters and newspaper publishers petitioned the Supreme Court to review an Appeals Court decision that stopped most of the deregulation of broadcast ownership already in process, including the elimination of the newspaper-broadcast cross-ownership rules.
